To rape a lady is not an humanitrian act. While raping the ladies they will try to stop you. As soon as you are plsced between a aldy legs the trying to stop you will end. Putting the pen in the pen holder will give a mutual joy to both parties. Some ladies even will not let you stop making sex but to continue as much as you can. Whatevs. We’re just going to have to agree to disagree about this one. You’re the only person I know of who has seen this whose mind went to anything but rape. And speaking as someone who has recently read thirteen 50-year-old porno magazines, jokes about groping women and pulling off their clothes are extremely plentiful–there may be more about people cheating on their spouses, but it’s a tight race.

The majority of cartoons in Playboy show women being sexually assaulted? Please.

Also, the word “they” is often used to describe one person, such as when John Connally said “My god, they’ll kill us all!” when Lee Harvey Oswald opened fire.

If anyone is overthinking this cartoon, it’s you. First you claim she’s raped, now it’s a gang-bang? This cartoon seems very similar to old jokes about traveling salesmen, as well as burlesque skits where a guy has a fling with a married woman, then comes up with some harebrained scheme to avoid getting caught or to B.S. his way out of trouble when he gets caught -like a plumber who claims he’s looking for a leaking pipe when he’s caught hiding under the bed by the woman’s husband.

Old and lame? Yes.
Advocating rape? I think not.

You are waaaaa-hay overthinking this, dude. It’s a one-panel cartoon in a magazine where the vast majority of one-panel cartoons feature a woman being harassed or sexually assaulted in some way, shape or form. It doesn’t need some kind of complicated backstory. And the man says “they” didn’t touch a thing. So she scheduled a mid-day office gang bang?

The perp would have tied them up afterward. Besides, who says the woman didn’t know the criminal? Could be she and her boyfriend had a quickie, then he decided to make it look like a robbery so she wouldn’t get in trouble. Who knows? You’re assuming she was raped, but there’s no reason to do so. Quite the contrary.

Hm, I don’t know… The fact that she and her boss are both tied up? The fact that having sex with a strange criminal doesn’t really do much for most women? The fact that you’re thinking way too far into this cartoon than it warrants? In my experience, Occam’s Razor applies pretty much universally to one-panel cartoons.

Why do you assume the woman in the cartoon was raped? For all you know, she could have had a consensual shag with a guy who turned around and tried to rob the place, only to be thwarted.
